We churn 35% whipping cream in stand mixers until it becomes a solid and liquid (butterfat and buttermilk, respectively). We then drain the buttermilk, and rinse and wash the butterfat in cold water to ensure it stays fresh for longer. Finally, we whip Himalayan Pink Salt amongst other fresh ingredients to create our delicious compound butters.
We use Hewitt's Dairy Whipping Cream; a fresh cream derived from cows that contains a milk fat of 35%. It is an all-natural cream containing no artificial flavours, preservatives, or additives.
Currently, we make our butter at the Foley Community Centre in their industrial kitchen. This is located 10 minutes outside of Parry Sound, Ontario.
We currently sell our products at local farmers markets, festivals, and fairs in the Parry Sound–Muskoka area. We hope to soon be in-stores in the Parry Sound–Muskoka area. Stay tuned for in-store locations!
